Tech Tales selected as a best practice by Creative Europe Austria

Creative Europe supports cultural initiatives that address contemporary social challenges, promote empathy and facilitate creative collaboration across borders. This selection is an important milestone for Tech Tales, as it recognises the values at the heart of our work.

But why would a project based on fairy tales be selected as one of the best practices in Europe?

Tech Tales is an EU-funded project that combines storytelling with immersive technology and co-creation workshops to raise awareness about stigma and violence. Artists, educators, experts, children and communities all play an active role in shaping the narratives and experiences within the project.

What makes fairy tales particularly powerful is their ability to address complex emotions and social issues in a symbolic and accessible manner. Rather than offering simplistic answers, the project uses stories to encourage dialogue, reflection, critical thinking and imagination.
