Characters

Pocahontas

Pocahontas is a strong, fearless, and restless girl who is always eager to test her limits in search of new adventures. What she excels in courage and curiosity, she lacks in patience and listening. In the tale, she learns that boredom can be fought not only by daring leaps, high speeds, and the search for new things, but also by embracing what is already close to her heart.

Nakoma

Pocahontas’ best friend and exact opposite, Nakoma is a sweet and thoughtful girl who is deeply connected to the world around her. She may seem cautious and quiet on the outside, but she hides great wisdom and strength within. As the true heroine of the tale, she teaches Pocahontas that kindness, empathy and care are more powerful that they may seem at first glance.

Bibi the Beaver

Bibi is Pocahontas’ loyal animal companion. He is a playful and lazy beaver, but he is also caring and wise. Although he enjoys rest and comfort, he is also observant and protective of his friend. Bibi often senses danger before it arises and warns Pocahontas to steady herself and think before she acts.

The People from the Old World

The newcomers from the Old World are driven by fear, greed, and the need for ownership and control. They measure value by possessions rather than connections. Their strict rules have brought division where once there was trust, cooperation, and respect. They represent the damage that occurs when we forget how to live in harmony with those around us and with nature.
