Education

Twisted Tales transforms storytelling into an interactive learning experience for children, parents, and educators. Our retellings of beloved tales open up space for creativity, empathy, and collaboration – both in classrooms and beyond.

METHODOLOGY

Co-creation is at the heart of what we do. Children don’t just listen to the tales, they help shape them through storytelling, illustration, sound and animation. In the process, they reflect on topics such as diversity, identity, friendship, courage and loss.

Developed with the guidance of psychologists and educators, our method received the SozialMarie Social Innovation Award in 2019, and is continuously implemented, tested, and upgraded based on feedback from children and experts all over the world.

Activities are designed to take place in classrooms, workshops, or at home, and provide resources to help guide and ensure safety, inclusion, and respect for each participant. While children practice empathy, perspective-taking, creativity and teamwork, parents and educators gain tools to inspire curiosity and meaningful conversations.

Always guided by children’s insights and ideas.
