At Twisted Tales, we believe stories are more than just words on paper. They shape the way we see the world and inspire us to imagine new ones. But the stories many of us grew up with no longer fit the lives of today’s children. They are filled with old clichés, outdated lessons, and narrow ideas of what a hero looks like. We set out to change that.

THE UNIVERSE
Twisted Tales TV is more than a collection of stories. It is a whole universe where storytelling, education, play and imagination meet. Told through books, theatre, animation, audio, exhibitions and workshops, each tale invites children not only to listen, but to participate, imagine, and create.
THE APPROACH
At the heart of Twisted Tale TVs is co-creation. We are storytellers and co-creators. Our tales are shaped by talented writers, illustrators, educators, and children, whose drawings, voices, and ideas inspire the Twisted Tales’ characters and environments. This method was designed by dedicated psychologists and facilitators to foster fundamental principles of humanity in children.

THE THEMES
Our characters may live in fairytale worlds, but their struggles are very real. Each tale carefully explores themes that children encounter in real life: belonging, identity, difference, friendship, loss, and hope. By addressing them through our stories, we give children the opportunity to see themselves reflected, and open space for families to share meaningful conversations.
THE TEAM
We are a team of dreamers, educators, psychologists, and artists, bringing stories to life in all formats and experiences. But our most important collaborators will always be children. Their creativity, honesty and point of view shape everything we create.
